Singer-Songwriter XinU Releases New Single “Timing (feat. Aile The Shota)”; Music Video Now Available!
Singer-songwriter XinU has released her new single “Timing (feat. Aile The Shota)” on major music streaming platforms. Alongside the release, the music video for the track is also now available, garnering much attention.
“Timing (feat. Aile The Shota)” marks XinU’s second major release and is her first collaboration with another vocalist, featuring Aile The Shota from BMSG. The track originated from a studio session between them, during which they shared a common theme: “We want to have the space to notice the color of the sky — then we’ll be able to recognize the right timing and opportunities.”
Responding to Aile The Shota’s quickly written verses, XinU added her own story, crafting a track that blends house and 2-step bass music elements with a stylish and pop-infused sound.
The music video draws inspiration from the song’s title “Timing” and its lyrics, using a Polaroid camera as a motif symbolizing irreplaceable moments. The video portrays the two artists capturing the brilliance of each fleeting moment with their cameras. Highlights include XinU’s emotionally charged vocals, known as “1/f fluctuation,” and Aile The Shota’s first-ever rap performance.

“The day we had our production session was blessed with an unbelievably beautiful blue sky. When life gets overwhelming or busy, it’s easy to overlook the color of the sky and the small joys in daily life. We started writing the lyrics from this conversation — wanting to always have the space to notice these things. I want to be true to myself and not miss the perfect timing ahead. If ever you feel closed off or down, I hope this song helps you remember how you want to be.”
